ITBS
scores- There are 43 sub-tests in the ITBS in grades 2-5. Tilton students on average scored at or
above grade level in 42 of the 43 sub-tests.
We think that is a successful record.
At the same time, we want to strive to reach that level in all
sub-tests. There are 33 sub-tests in
the ITBS in grades 3-5 for which student results can be tracked to determine
growth from year to year. Tilton
students on average showed growth of at least one full year or were already at
or above grade level in 33 of the 33 sub-tests.
2.
ISAT
scores – There are 8 sub-tests in the Illinois Standards Achievement Tests that
are given in grades 3,4,and 5. Tilton
students scored higher than the state average in 6 of the 8 sub-tests in terms

categories. There were several
sub-tests where especially high success was achieved: 4th grade science where 78% of students met or
exceeded, 4th grade social science where 87% of students met or
exceeded, and 5th grade writing where 81% of students met or
