New Student Registration

Rochelle School District 231 welcomes you to our school community.

A new student registration means you do not have any children currently enrolled in the Rochelle Elementary School District.

A COMPUTER is needed to register your child. Tablets and smartphones are not supported.

Please follow the 3 steps below to complete the online registration process:

Step 1: GATHER INFORMATION

  • Household information - address, phone numbers.
  • Parent information - work and cell phone numbers, email addresses.
  • Student information – demographic information (age, race, ethnicity, etc.) and a digital copy of birth certificate.
  • Emergency Contact - addresses and phone numbers.
  • Health/Medication, Physicals (Kindergarten & 6th grades) and Immunization Information.
  • 2 proofs of residency- from this group below you will need to provide two (2) recent different types of documents showing your proper address. For more information, click here.
    • Driver’s License/State Identification Card
    • Home/Apartment Insurance Papers
    • Public Aid Card
    • Bank Account Statement (checks/deposit forms are not acceptable)
    • Voter Registration Card
    • Utility Bill (telephone bills not accepted)
    • Credit Card Bill
    • Auto Registration

Step 2: FILL OUT THE ONLINE APPLICATION

You will need access to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to fill out the registration application. A computer is required. If you need computer access, contact Lincoln School to make an appointment to use a computer kiosk.

  • The Infinite Campus Online Registration tool will allow you to begin your application and return to it as often as you wish before officially submitting it for approval. Once you submit for approval, it will be locked. The school will contact you and unlock the application if any additional information is required. Many questions within the student application are required and are noted with a red asterisk *.
  • If you reach the screen that gives you an application number and you click the Confirm Button but a new window does not appear, it is a pop up issue within your browser settings. Please make sure your browser Pop-Up Blocker is turned off (disabled) and Allow Pop-Up turned on (enabled). Step 3: FEES AND DOCUMENTS

FEES: All registration fees need to be paid before the first day of school, August 17th, 2021.

Preschool

School personnel will let each family know the cost (around $20.) when they reach out to let you know which class your child has been placed in.

Kindergarten

$50 + $10 milk fee = $60

1st - 5th Grades

$55 Registration Fee

6th - 8th Grades

$60 Registration Fee

$20 PE Uniform (purchase not necessary if student already has a uniform)

WAIVER:

  • Students whose families meet the federal income guidelines for the free/reduced lunch program are eligible for fee waivers. Qualifying families must complete the student fee waiver annually to have student fees waived.

  • You will receive an email after your waiver is approved or denied so that you know if you need to pay your registration fee or not.

PAYMENT:

  • On-Line Payment is now available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please consider using this as it is fast and convenient.
  • Checks may also be mailed or dropped off at the school(s) that your child(ren) attend. Separate checks must be made out if your children attend different schools. Please include the name and grade of your child when sending a check.

DOCUMENTS:

  • All documents and forms needed can be uploaded through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal Registration Tool. Please consider using this method since it is fast and convenient.
  • You can also drop them off at your child’s school or mail them in, if you prefer.

REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE:

Once you have completed the online registration process, supplied proper documents (Proof of Address, Birth Certificate, Health Forms, Income Form), and paid the registration fee, you will receive an email confirming your child as registered for the 2021-2022 school year.
